Thanks for the response so far—keep 'em coming.

Most responses have focused on the interior. How about exterior? Everyone happy with the wheel choices? Trev suggested a CF spoiler (small). What say you? Other exterior accents?

Tx for the welcome Trev. I hope to become a regular participant at M3OC.
To your question on the rear camera protector: It's a more difficult problem that you might expect. We've tried a number of design variants and approaches as prototypes, but none work well enough to proceed to production. Water pools on the lens and impedes rear vision. We tried mechanical protection and hydrophilic coatings without much success. I suspect this will also be a problem for M3 so we're continuing to look at it. Any suggestions or ideas are welcome from all.
Would Rain-X work?

Welcome to the site!

I love the idea of the organizers for the frunk and trunk and possible carbon fiber trim. Do you have a physical location in Boca (I'm in Coral Springs)????

One thing that is definitely needed is accessories for pets.
We need interior protection for dogs.
Rear seats up or folded.
M3 has hooks at the right place to fasten a net right behind front seats.
Also material to protect from dirty paws that fits well on rear seats and keeps seat safe from nails.
And straps that work with seatbelts.

Also custom sized trunk-cooler. M3 has enough room for dozens of beer bottles kept upright below the trunk floor.
Actual compressor-type cooler. Otherwise it doesn't work.
Or just a chiller box, with ice. Just insulation.

My old Dodge came with a trunk cargo net that could stretch to hold things up front, or behind, while small things could be placed inside the net itself, like so:

I always liked that solution to organizing the trunk.

My Hyundai Sonata has that as well and I like it though it obviously can't hold all of my groceries I am able to put the things that will move around and break everything (like a gallon of milk) or the things that will break if they move (eggs).

Floor mats—on it! We do get a lot of requests for a frunk-sized travel bad. The issue is the relatively odd shape, but there are solutions and we're looking at them.
Doesn't have to be exact size, just small enough to fit in the frunk (with the Model 3/Tesla logo).

At Evannex, we now get hundreds of inquiries every month from future Model 3 owners who want to know what accessories we have planned for Model 3. It’s almost as if people on the reservation list are so excited about their reservation that they want to make it real by accessorizing—even before the car is parked in front of their residence

We also get a fair number of future Model 3 owners who communicate product ideas to us—some excellent, others, a little out there. We do take every suggestion seriously and log the best for further technical evaluation.

Initially, we’re focusing our attention in areas where we believe accessories will provide immediate functional and/or aesthetic impact. I’ve included a few simple sketches of some of those areas. (When vehicles begin to be released to the public, we’ll provide more concrete details.)

Since many of you have spent a lot of time studying every aspect of Model 3 and now that the final options for Model 3 have been announced, we're really interested in your ideas for accessories that might improve the aesthetics and/or features/functionality of Model 3. What accessories, if any, will you need to make Model 3 your own?

Product Development, Evannex
Great to see you getting direct feedback from future Model 3 owners. In addition to the great suggestions so far, here are a few more:

× Red brake calipers for both 18 and 19 wheel options
× Perfect fit drivers seat cover to minimize wear
x Glare reduction film for the screen
x Low cost shipping to this side of the pond

License plate frames painted the exact Tesla colors (and low-profile). This will help minimize the effect of the front license plate for states that require them. If Evannex or somebody else doesn't offer them, I'll have to go DIY.

I would also like a reasonably priced 18" alternative to the aero wheels for winter tires. Need the smaller wheels for the inevitable potholes in New England in the winter.

I'm also going to be looking for a rear seat cover (hammock?) for our dogs. It would be nice if there was one that is custom made for the Model 3, with a cutout for the rear vents.

Wheel options would be great, especially 18's for winter use as suggested above. Also live in a front license plate province, I promise if you come up with a slick solution I'll be buying one before I take delivery!

Many people contact us requesting your items # 1 and #2. Looks like folks are planning to use the aero caps only for long trips (to gain a range advantage) but otherwise go with the underlying wheels. We're looking at this.

On #3: There an IP issue with this, but it is a good idea!
Maybe we could just cut the side off of a pair of Adidas sneakers and stick it on the car???

Definitely looking for a small carbon fibre spoiler... I'm pretty sure that'll sell like hot cakes and improve the rear look of the vehicle which I believe is the most u desirable part of the vehicle!

Wow, this is the price you pay for - normally - only checking the M3OC post traffic during my EU night...
37 responses already, Roger!!

Adding my own warm welcome and expressing appreciation for your market pull approach, @Roger Pressman !!
From aN European perspective, we'll need to discuss how to make your great line of accessories as affordable as feasible on this side of the water despite sometimes annoying import duties... will send you my details in pm if you wish to discuss how to best distribute here...

As far as my own wish list, in addition to items already listed (front plates, red calipers, different wood trim instead of the beech color currently part of the Premium package, Model ≡ tag for the back, lit please... ;)), I would be remiss, as well-known diehard HUDite, if I would not mention a (somewhat sophisticated) back-up plan to the absence of a factory built HUD... so that it's not all for Navdy... ;)
