^ Thanks Rick... Unfortunately, I didn't go for the soft close... In hindsight, perhaps, but I'm good with the auto present illuminated door handles...

:)

My wife would love the blue, my mother the presented handles (or anyone else not familiar with how they work), and I'd hate it in the winter when they're frozen shut.

Thank goodness I live in Southern California where there's a rare possibility that the handles will freeze over... I guess if it did happen, I'll pour warm water over them to unfreeze and open as usual...

:)

I took advantage of the incredible summer weather this weekend and tried out Mother's CRX spray-on ceramic coating after a full wash.
I usually apply Feynlab ceramic lite each spring but never got around to it this year, and this seemed to be that much easier (and less expensive) to do before winter set in.
I would say they are about the same for effort and looks. Haven't had a nice clean car all summer!
After 20 something days, maybe this will finally wake up the rain gods.

And the video on Amazon has a very slippery looking red Model 3 with body color door handles and blacked-out chrome...

MPP adjustable comfort coilovers and spacers: 5mm front, 17mm back.

I think I've now found my ideal street setup for comfort.
Front height 78mm, rear height 32 mm. This gives a ground clearance of 130mm in the front and 135mm in the back, which is 10mm lower than original. Front compression is 15 open, rebound 9, rear compression 15, rebound 13.

This feels about the same softness as a year old standard suspension, but without the bounciness at the rear.

Celebrating the 2nd anniversary of my 2018 M3 delivery today. 17,655 fun filled miles (more fun than legally allowed in some states). No ICE driver would ever believe that the EV driving/chargiing experience can change your life for the better. So much so that you look for excuses to drive. The amazement factor does not wear off either.

Over the past week, I washed the car, clay barred the whole thing (Mothers California Gold Clay Kit), and coated with Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic spray coating (53409). Very nice products, recommended. It's pouring out right now, but I'll try to add a picture later.

EDIT: Nikki needed a washing before pictures, but it's too dark now. Will try tomorrow.

Hello all, finally back on this Forum!

I've done quite a few things to my Model 3 over the past month. Here are links to 3 episodes from my YouTube Channel featuring accessories/mods I have done so far. Still have some more stuff coming. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions on any of these.

Love it, welcome back!!

2 weeks past our 2 year anniversary of owning her midnight silver dual motor performance, I had my wife's car outfitted with the fantastic Mountain Pass Performance comfort adjustable coilovers, set at the default 12/10 Compression/rebounc. The ride really is better than stock and the handling is better too. Fantastik kit!
