I think the point is that it can be opened no matter what the state of the 12 V battery is. There was some discussion that it wouldn’t open until the 12 V battery was dead but this seems to be incorrect.
Thanks - I had lost the message being discussed I guess. I guess I've never seen Tesla say the battery had to be dead for it to work and I don't guess I would expect them to do so. It just needs to continue to be shared that the Frunk is not secure.
