I placed my order On June 30, 2018 for RWD, but after agonizing for a few days, I decided to upgrade to AWD, on July 3, 2014, within the 72 hour window to make design changes. I thought the price for AWD had been reduced to $3000 (from the original offer of $4000) at that time. My order agreement shows the price at $4000. When I spoke to support on Aug 16, they told me there is a glitch in there website, and the price would show up as $3000 in my final contract. When I later spoke to my delivery specialist on Aug 28, she seems not to be aware of the $3000 AWD price, and there is no record of my conversation with Jodie the rep I spoke with at 877 79-TESLA on Aug 16, and the order agreement still shows $4000 for AWD.

Is my recollection not correct, was the AWD offered for $3000 at the time of 7-3-18, or am I mistaken. Does anyone have any documentation that speaks to this?

Thanks for your help

The AWD is the sleeper steal in LR Teslas, so I think you hopefully could afford it at $5k or $4k, its a bargain at either price.
We initially selected the $4k AWD on 6/29 but I changed to an over-the-top EV sportscar (P3D+) to tell Detroit, "Quit with the gas guzzlers, okay?"
