I don't mind the grunting so much, just the lack thereof during the turbo lag.
But yes, it just whizzed off. AWD one should be even faster, but alas, not till this time next year.
Don't mean to put down your Audi's grunting noise. I too was an owner of an '09 A3 Sportback Quattro. Loved that car! But it's no comparison to the effortless acceleration of a Tesla - the point I was trying to make.

Maybe Close the passenger window next time when taping? Or did you want the wind noise to communicate the event of motion? The video is cool although seeing the white on the road makes me want the red one you have photographs of below your video..

Thanks for taking the time to do this and post up..

I'm really curious about the pictures of the red tesla model 3...would it be possible for you to describe the red on the tesla 3..

Is it a youthful red? A bright red or is it one of those reds that gets real dark without direct sunlight? Is a burgundy red without the bright sunlight? Or is it a bright red on its own?

Sorry for multiple questions slightly off topic....

If we could literally see the cars In The colors in person before we order that would that be great and end a lot of these questions..

The vehicles moving first in California and then moving east does begin to annoy many when we kind of just want to know the color choices real time and the same goes for options,,

I'm assuming we will get to see rear wheel drive tesla s of all colors on the east coast before we have to place an order for the awd model we may want to spec out..

Cranky Saturday ...;)

I should have added @JBsC6, with the red being a multicoat paint, it really does change quite a bit based on lighting. Think of it as the modern day equivalent of the mid-century Candy Apple Red.
Some angles/light you see a blue tint over it, straight on a Crayon red, and some angles/light a deeper dark red.

THank you Melinda...your explanation helps me lean a little more as I really think a beautiful bright red tesla model 3 would make me smile..

Hopefully we will all be able to see these cars in their actual colors in person before we have to decide for ourselves.

Your explanation gives me hope
