Seems like the cover in my trunk Is thicker than it should be (or the recess that it fits into isn't deep enough). There's definitely a noticeable lip (more than a quarter of an inch) in the transition from the floor of the trunk to the back of the removable cover. Does everyone else have this too?

I asked about this at a service appointment this week (where they fixed a few minor defects) and the response back was "compared to other model 3's found fitment consistent with fleet". This one is bizarre to me. It would have been so easy to design the trunk floor and cover to fit flush with one another. It just looks like a sloppy mistake and it means you can't slide something across the trunk floor without hitting that lip.
