so basically, the shape of the "wood" part of the dash is what directs the air downwards. Now I wonder if the texture has any bearing on that ability, or if someone wraps that part does it impact its ability to direct the air.
The engineering that has gone into a simple thing like the air vent really seems to encompass the whole design and engineering ethic of the car as a whole.
There are examples of it all over the car, this isn't just a small Model S - its the biggest indicator of where Tesla is heading. They will be dragging the rest of the industry behind them, kicking and screaming.
Model 3 truly is a disruptive car.

I would say no car's air vents have ever looked good. So hopefully all cars will adapt something like this, but without a giant screen in the middle, I'm not sure how.
