Tesla not adding referral codes to early Model 3 Performance Orders

Just a quick FYI for anybody else who ordered a Performance Model 3 before Tesla announced that it would be included in their referral program. I sent Tesla an email asking if I could add a referral code to my order - I figured *somebody* deserved a new Wall Charger for my purchase. ;) I had heard that some people had success getting one added after-the-fact. But it sounds like Tesla may have finally settled on a policy here. This is the response I received:

Thank you for contacting us regarding the Tesla Referral Program. I apologize for any inconvenience this delayed response has caused. We are not adding any referral codes to orders placed before 8/1/2018. However, we will still be adding the supercharging benefit to any performance Model 3 vehicles that were placed before 8/1/2018 without a referral code. Any orders after 8/1/2018 can add a referral code to their RN to give credit to referee, and to receive the referral supercharging benefit.
