Current owners - how well do the sun visors cover the top portion of the windshield? Often on my drive home I have to put down the visor on the passenger side to prevent being blinded from the sun coming in to the right of the rear-view mirror. On my old Acura this was never a problem - the visor covered nearly all of the space between the A-pillar and the mirror.

However, now that I’m driving a big truck (my borrowed temporary vehicle) I’ve found that the visor coverage is very poor. There a very large gap (several inches) between the edge of the visor and the mirror. The visor is adjustable side to side, but isn’t shaped very well, making it impossible to block out the sun effectively.

Are the Model 3 visors designed better than this? Thanks!

@TrevP did a nice review of the Model 3, including a close look at the sun visors. Not only is the sun visor fairly long, but it can extend as well, so I think this will be better than most vehicles. Watch the part where he flips the visor to the side window, then extends it.
