You're on your own as far as out of pocket for repairs -- some of which have to be at the SC at lawyer hourly rates.

You can buy parts, from Tesla only (there's no such thing as aftermarket - doesn't look like they allow it) that Nanny Tesla deems "safe" to self-install (lawyers again...).

You cannot buy a part without a VIN number that corresponds to the car the part is for and where your name is not on the car as an owner. As if you're going to build a car from the parts bin, lol.
