I had a service visit this week and asked what a rotation would cost since I was there. He said $75. I said that was a bit steep but for the sake of convenience gave the go ahead. The guy then got down and began inspecting. After a thorough look at all four he announced that I needn't worry about a rotation now and possibly never. His opinion after a year of observation, is that the P and AWD M3s wear these hard 45psi tires extremely evenly. His take, if the rotation is free, do it. If not skip it. This advice does not apply to the RWD models.

The Signal Hill shop has a poster stating that they will rotate tires for free! Do you have to buy tires from them to get the free service? Kinda like false advertising there.
I didn't see that poster. But I'm wondering if the fine print says "tires must be purchased here".

Well, I was looking at these. They seem pretty nice and a set of 4 for $75 ($21 for 1, $40 for 2). Other colors available.

I don't know if anyone else mentioned this in this thread, but I just purchased four billet aluminium jack pads for the Model 3 for $35 including shipping:

There are only 7 left, so best of luck.

Tire rotation is free in Orange County, CA.
Yes, but do you have to have TWO Teslas? :p
