I'm wondering if we can help each other with highlighting any additional work that appears on a service write-up or service estimate that isn't something we asked for but was added free of charge, like this when all I wanted was a new set of tires:

Concern: Replace Charge Port Pin Deadfronts
Correction: Replace Charge Port Insulator Pins With Updated Parts

It may also help to identify a relative VIN # or when your car was made. For me, 021XXX and May 2018.

Did you ask them about this? Is there an issue with the original parts causing charging problems?

I have had no issues, but apparently many cars with the original pins are experiences issues over time. It appears that Tesla is replacing these pins as they encounter them on other service issues.

some people have had the plastic surrounding the charge port crack or break off leaving bare metal. for those that have had the plastic crack, it can get in the way of the pins aligning and able to properly connect

FYI @Kizzy

However they’re just replacing these (of their own volition) in addition to other service calls or mobiles even if they’re not cracked?

I've had no issues, but did have a friend who had small parts come loose in the charge port, likely the dead fronts. He had that repaired under warranty.

My latest service visit to investigate a noise in the left suspension (nothing found) yielded two additional service bulletins, both fixed:

Concern: Inspect HV Battery Positive Contactor Fasteners
Verified concern. Performed bulletin. Vehicle is operating as designed.
Correction: Inspect Contactor, Fasteners Check OK
Parts Replaced or Added
Part Quantity
BOLT,TE,M6-1.0x14,[88],G1009,CA(1508009-00-A) 5.0

Concern: Customer states funny noise from left front suspension. Occurs in the mornings, loud clicking sound when the
suspension encounters bumps or uneven road conditions.
Verified concern. Replaced both check straps. Vehicle is operating as designed.
Correction: General Diagnosis
Correction: Latch - Door - Front - LH (Remove & Replace)
Parts Replaced or Added
Part Quantity
M3S FRONT RH DOOR CHECK STRAP(1110298-00-D) 1.0
M3S FRONT LH DOOR CHECK STRAP(1089507-00-D) 1.0

Please note that the door check strap on the driver's side had been making loud clicking noises for several months. I'll be checking if I still have a left front suspension noise, neither me nor Tesla thinks the two sounds are related.

anyway, it's good to no longer have the creaky noise when opening or closing my door!

The bigger issue is that the charge pins can break off in the Supercharger connector which then prevents the next user form plugging in. Thy can usually be cleared by holding the connector upside down and banging it...
