This stuff is ridiculous. I took my dogs on a trip and one or more of them drooled on the plastic and it left spots even after cleaning with interior cleaner and a microfiber. Anyone else experienced this?

Yes. I cleaned it by covering it up! Most of the 3M 1080 vinyl kits out there minimize finger prints, dust etc. Easy to keep clean.

Just out of curiosity how long should that vinyl last?
7 years per 3M’s website (for their 1080 automotive vinyl)

Since it is intended as an exterior wrap, I’d expect longer life for interior where it is not in the weather, getting dirty, etc.

Yeah, I would expect it to last for the life of the car honestly. Unless you damage it by scratching or tearing it, but that would take alot.
