I just got my model 3 less than a week ago. Have an appointment for PPF (XPEL ultimate plus for the entire front end of the car) next week, but I keep going back on forth regarding whether it's worth it. It's not cheap, even for just the front, but I understand the film is expensive and there is a lot of labor involved.

For those of you who have gotten PPF, have you been happy with your decision? Have you felt it has made a difference? Anyone regret getting the PPF and wish they saved the money? I never cared about rock chips on my old cars, but obviously with the model 3 it feels different.

I'm also concerned if a rock chip hits hard enough and damages the film, then that's gonna show and look just as bad as a normal rock chip. I know the paint will be unharmed, but I wouldn't be excited about needing to have the film replaced for more $$...that seems to be the thing giving me most doubts.

Please let me know your thoughts one way or another...thanks!

If you search the forums for threads with "PPF" in the title, you'll find a lot of discussions.
