I notice there are some annoying noises between the door glass and door seal rubber when driving uphill.
It seems the glass will change its position when uphill, and then contact the seal rubber, making this noise.
I spray some water to the rubber, and the problem disappears, but comes back after a few days.

P.S. I can reproduce this noise by pushing the glass, inside the car.

Consider doing a window calibration to ensure it goes all the way up when closed.

  1. Press and hold the window switch down to open the window completely. Do not release.
  2. Continue holding the switch for approx 15 seconds.
    • The window motor should try to roll down just a bit further to the end stop.
  3. Release the window button
  4. Press and hold the window switch up to close the window completely. Do not release.
  5. Same, continue to hold ~15 seconds.
  6. Release the window button.
Hopefully it's just not closing all the way and a bit more pressure will keep it sealed better.

Thanks, actually the glass is closed quite tight and the seal is good.
I also tried window calibration and didn't help.

I found there are some abrasions on the seal rubber, which becomes glossy, and push the rubber directly will making the similar noise as well.

Will come to SC this weekend, hopefully, they can resolve this issue.

BTW, when I roll down the window a little bit (still seal), the noise will disappear as well.

Darn. That's frustrating! Definitely keep us in the loop as more fixes noted here means fewer trips to the SC in the future for others :)

Do you have any recommendations for the best lubricant for this?
A few people have recommended this Gummi Pflege Stift:

But I would think that any sort of vehicle weatherstrip lubricant will work.

update:
Local SC replaces the seal rubber and the problem disappears.

BTW, I tried the silicone lubricants over the rubber but didn't help..
