Thanks Trevor. I don't have an EV. However, I have always thought that the internal combustion engine (ICE) as outdated technology...many years ago. Technology regarding computers, cell phones & mass media has progressed by leaps & bounds in just the last 20 years and yet, we're still imprisoned by the ICE. EVs are the future of tomorrow... today!!! But ya know, EVERY time I bring up the subject of EVs to people I know, they automatically put down the idea that today's vehicles (ICE) will ever be replaced by EVs. Short sided people. Every new technology that comes on the market is automatically not to be relied upon. Thanks for your model 3 videos Trevor. Keep 'em coming!
Welcome Metal Al !! When having conversations just ask people if they mind paying $3 gallon of gas prices while paying a fraction of that for electricity, because at some point costs will rise, again. Ask people if they have ever driven a EV, if not they don't have any experience on the topic. Ask them if they enjoy gassing up in dead of winter, rain, or HOT weather. I certainly don't. Even with a SC you are out of the car for moments and back in your car again. Smell of gas when filling up exciting?? Didn't think so.....welcome to the revolution !!
Welcome to the board and to the future of transport. The first thing I say to doubters is drive one. Once you feel how an EV accelerates and how quiet it is the emotional connection to the ICE past goes away. The logical reasons are all here or on electrek but I find the this is so amazing feeing people get the first time they get in a tesla is the argument that works best. Cheers.
Never has any other car than a T≡SLA giving me such driving fun, except for a brief joy ride in a Ferrari 360 Modena years ago... yet I would not want to use that as every day car... nor, dare I say, could I afford it !!
