Hi everyone,

I have been sharing my artwork of the new Model 3. It is a watercolor on 9x12. Technically this is the prepro version but the production differs only with a minor nose shift and the location of the small amber piece on the LED running strip.

Hope you enjoy. If this is something you'd like of your Tesla I'd be happy to help.

@threenic I suggest you sign your art, particularly on the Internet. Your work is too good to just put out there to copy for free. I have tried my hand at watercolor. Abstract nature scenes are fairly easy. But technical work in watercolor, like yours, is one of the most difficult of the art forms. What size is your original? I suppose you work in color also? Any suggestion what an original might cost?

Forum members, this guy is truly talented! I know, I have seen very few of this caliber.

@threenic,

I agree with Mod....that technical work and detail with watercolor is Amazing.....very difficult to achieve well. Beautiful work threenic!!! I have to make a decision and choose my color first!:) Also agreed you should WaterMark it or such at least on here.

@ModFather That really means a lot to me. I know that most watercolors are abstract as you said, but I started using them in a technical way and found it to be a wonderful medium. This piece was done on 9x12 paper with Reeves watercolors. I just started selling pieces so right now originals are around $100 as I put 15 to 20 hours of work into each piece. I have been doing a few commissions but it seems the price-point throws a lot of people, but I think it is fair considering the time and the product, but maybe I am wrong!

Thanks Ski!! When I post on Instagram I put a watermark but I forgot to here - I'll definitely remember to do that in the future.

@kendthomp Great to hear! I would love to paint one for you. I will send a PM.

@ModFather I should be able to modify the nose on the original painting to match the production nose. I will do that and then show what the revised watercolor looks like, and if you like it it's all yours!

@ModFather I have revised the nose to the production model. It has been lowered, rounded, and lightened (less severe shadow effect). Here is the production watercolor:

For some reason I cannot access a Private conversation with you, however. But if you like it it's all yours. Maybe I could give you an email?

If you make one in Midnight Silver you might have two other interested parties ... if the price is right... ;)
I'm very interested... my challenge is that at home our 4th/extra bedroom was my man cave and now it's a kids room and at work we went to an office-wide open floor plan where literally no one has an office including our CEO.

The only wall space that is mine is in my garage :(
