Hi, I tried searching but didn't find anything, probably due to my lack in vocabulary.

I just drove into our street, when I heard loud noises, at first I thought someone was loading metal pipes onto a truck or something. Then the noise followed me. I parked into the garage and made a service appointment, but it bothers me. Has anyone had something like that? What could it be? It seems to come from the rear left wheel, but I could not see anything misplaced.
The sound comes immediately when moving walking speed, but silence when standing still.

Now I am very concerned because everyone says German service is hell.

If it's a stone in the brakes' heat shield, it makes a scraping sheet metal sound - high pitch. (few posts about this)

If it's a thunking noise just on first acceleration/deceleration it's possibly the axle nut needs tightening (few posts on the forum about this)

If as Fog suggests it's loose lug nuts, don't do a launch to fix it ;)
