We are essentially one month out from the final unveil and presumably the opening of the design studio. Let's speculate on the unknowns. In the poll select all of the things you believe will be available at launch whether standard or optional.

Some of these options I think will be available to order, but may delay your delivery (so I counted those as available - like the dual motors).
Hmm. Interesting @MelindaV.

I guess I took it as what would you be able to actually receive at delivery, so I was a bit more conservative.

Have to admit it though. That was the funnest survey I've done here so far.

How are people taking delivery in a month if they haven't been told what the cost and variety of options are?

Were they forced into a Non disclosure agreement while they were ordering...

This is kind of annoying already.....just announce the option list and the pricing that goes along with it...

Everyday I look and fully expect some sort of announcement....everyday. Disappointed...

I enjoy anticipation as much as the next guy but with deliveries expected in July which is next month...I would have thought we would have pricing information already..

Somebody slap some sense into our genius friend Elon Musk.,...

What's this butch going to cost us ?

Also, packages. If you limit the options and just start building cars, you're more likely to build configurations that match what people end up ordering.

At this point, I don't expect much more before July. That way I manage my expectations every night when I go to bed...

Yet, I would like to meet with one of our own while in Houston... :p

And it's production begins in July. Tesla has not said deliveries would begin in July.
So in all likelihood, production will kick off late July and first employee orders delivered shortly after.
I don't expect the general public configuration site will be available to see until after the July event.

Since this thread is all about speculation and as I am a self-proclaimed optimist, I'll reiterate my bet production will start between 7/4 and 7/14... just for the fun of it... enabling first deliveries before end July... :rainbow::tokyotower::rainbow:

We need another survey on the coolness features.....

I hope that Model 3 will incorporate these features in atleast the top of the line model 3.

1. Summon
2. Parallel, Perpendicular, Self park without anyone in the driver seat.
3. HEPA filter BIO DEFENSE.
4. Auto present doors.
5. Ambient lighting.
6. heated seats throughout the cabin.
7. heated wipers
8. 14 way adjustable seats fronts like alphas.
9. carbon fiber trim.
10. MODEL 3 shaped Key fob. Dont give me a cheap A** rectangular Key fob with couple buttons PLEASE......

From that whole list, I think we get 1, 5, and 10.

Thanks guys.. I thought deliveries began in July. Not just production. I actually thought orders would have to be taken before production.

How else would tesla know what people wanted and were willing to take delivery of...

I guess employees get a certain package of options and a price? Or as stated they signed a NDA..

This is getting a bit ridiculous at this point...a little too much cloak and dagger..

It's a car...a nice car but not something so secret we shouldn't know what the options are? What color the car comes in? Just my opinion as I start to get a little annoyed...

June was my expectation as production starts in July and I had Thought a few deliveries....besides who could build a car without finding out what people wanted to order for their vehicles...

Here is my money ...tell me what I'm getting when you hand me the keys....and I sign my name?

Even Ferrari is not this secretive...

I think Mr Page said that Tesla will build inventory wile employees get their cars at the same time. Not sure though. So when reservations holders will put their orders in, they'll get there car in a week or two. Depending on where the cars are to be delivered. In the first 6 to 9 months, Tesla will build only RWD and 75Kw/h battery with few options first. :( As Mrs Melinda said, July is the month!

Wonder if musk is sharp enough to give employees a year's worth of driving their vehicles with them registered as company test vehicles as leases so they don't register as sold vehicles with regards to the 200000 target for government subsidies....since they technically could be considered test vehicles...?

Probably not but it would be a slick way to avoid sales tax, get data and get acknowledged as building on time....company vehicles get nice tax breaks and the employees benefit too
