I previously owned a Mercedes Benz CLA 250. I think it was the worst car that I have ever owned and I will never buy a Mercedes Benz ever again. Anyway, something that really sticks out to me is that on the CLA 250 (image below is a CLA AMG, but you get the idea) is that when you look at the door you see a lot of metal where the interior door panel ends -- very cheap looking...

Agreed. Exterior gaps on production vehicles look good too!

My perception has evolved mightily after first seeing the interior of the Model 3, transitioning from "that screen in the middle looks weird" to "why do I need all of this crap" when viewing the interior of every other vehicle.
This says it all...

Although I agree with the premise, they didn't label the 4 power window switches in the Model 3 interior.
Yeah, that's weird too. For me, it's easy to tell they control the windows given the rocker style switch, but I've also had the luxury of obsessing over every detail months ahead of delivery. Might not be so obvious to passengers that are in a hurry to roll down the window since the first button they see does something different than they may be accustomed to (opens the door...).

But then again, there are only two buttons on the door handle/armrest, and one of them won't work while the car is in motion.

Interesting. Is there a way to roll down windows on the passenger side or back of the car while you're driving? My camry has power window switches for every window on the driver's side.

Yes, the drivers side door does have the standard cluster of 4 window switches. I can't find it, but there is a good picture of it somewhere.

Funny, I've owned a number of Mercedes vehicles and I've had no problems with them. I was going to buy another Mercedes when the M3 came out. It's time to move on and I put my deposit down on an M3. Can't wait.

Which ones?

The CLA shouldn't even be called a Mercedes. It's a far cry from "real Mercedes", but the way they treated me contributes to why I'll never buy one again and try my best to sway others :)
