An important part of running any business is listening to your customers. For the last 18 months everyone has been asking "When are you going to take this thing to the next level?!" Well now is the time! Here is your chance to be a significant part of the Electric Vehicle Revolution. We are gathering talent, scouting out locations, and collaborating with the elite in the EV Aftermarket. BUT! We need YOUR HELP to make the FIRST DEDICATED Tesla/EV Repair Facility a REALITY!

Rich Rebuilds and EV Tuning Join Forces!
This is the natural progression from the Rich Rebuilds Youtube Channel and the Rebuild/Aftermarket replacement products that EV Tuning has been offering. We want to share our experience working on Tesla's and other EV's. We want to provide a safe, honest and transparent place to repair your vehicle. In order to provide these services we need to raise the necessary capital to move forward with opening a repair facility worthy of everyone's expectations. First and foremost, we need a space big enough to service a large number of vehicles. We need warehouse space to store new and used parts as well as salvage vehicles and perform conversions. Second we need equipment and inventory to get the shop up and running. Next we aren't going to get much done without adequate staff. We need to hire top talent from throughout the industry. Last we want to have an immersion program for children that are curious about the Electric Vehicle Industry.
Why contribute to our cause?
We will be offering a number of really fun perks for purchase. This way we give something back to you in addition to you helping us accomplish our goal. (*More perks will be added throughout the campaign so make sure to check back for the latest additions!!) We can't do this without you. We want you to know how special you are to all of us.
When we are done we will have a big open house for everyone to come visit and check out what we have accomplished with your help.
We plan to service vehicles, provide aftermarket upgraded parts, as well as used parts and support for out of warranty and salvage vehicles. Both Rich and EV Tuning have been doing this on a small scale and the response has been way more than we can currently handle. We put our heads together and said this needs to happen! The demand is there, and we already have proof of concept. Scaling this up to meet everyone's needs and our own ambitions is the task that lays before us. Your support is what will help make this possible.

Will certainly be helping this mission !!!! With Rich and Chris's energy, expertise, and resources this should be a very successful and evolving shop that produces similar shops across New England !!!! So glad you guys got the ball rolling on this now, in the next 5 years there will be SO MANY more EV's needing to be fixed, updated, and have aftermarket items put on them !!

After seeing Rich's battery explosion video, please make sure to have multiple fire extinguishers in your new shop!
That said, the fire extinguisher they ended up using appeared to have NO effect at all on controlling the fire.

Perhaps a strong garden hose would be more effective
Probably. Tesla recommends dousing with lots of water in the event of a fire.

If the high voltage battery catches fire, is exposed to high heat, or is bent, twisted, cracked, or breached in any way, use large amounts of water to cool the battery. DO NOT extinguish with a small amount of water. Always establish or request an additional water supply.

That makes it sound like there's little hope of extinguishing a cell on fire, and the only chance of success is to cool the pack down in hopes of preventing it from spreading to other cells.

You need to absorb heat to stop thermal runaway with a battery pack. Fire extinguishers really won't do anything. Douse it with water, and continue dousing it after flames go out to keep cooling it down. A bucket of sand will do better than a fire extinguisher.
