a year ago I was pretty sure I was going with Titanium Metallic.....
or Pearl White or maybe one of these potential new colors they could give us - like maybe that emerald green or a fiery orange/red like was on the dummy alpha model.

(actually I think that blue in the foreground is the current Deep Blue Metallic that they switched to a few years back)

so...... no. not at all decided except colors that are for sure excluded (black, metallic black, lighter black metallic and silver.) The blue and red are both maybes but closer to probably nots, but if the current colors are what we have to pick from, will likely go with pearl.

Although three days this week driving home, I've come across the same miata on the freeway (crazy, huh?!) that is a deep wine similar to the sample to the left of the deep blue metallic and it is a really pretty color that I would take (and I have never been drawn to red cars)

Tough one. My Escape Titanium has multi coat pearl white. Don't want that again. Black, red and blue are out. Silver is just to Merc. However the dark shadow grey on my '03 Cobra track car in my avitar is a nice color!

Sooooo IF plain white is available it's down to that or midnight silver metallic but I'm leaning towards whatever my wife says............

That would have been too smart. Doesn't look like you can edit and add in a poll.

My wife wants me to get white, so I'm getting Midnight Silver ;)

Looking at more than a few pictures, it seems to me that the white has a "pearl" glow to it. I think Tesla discontinued the plain white on both the S & X. I'm wondering if the "white" is a multicoat finish...

@celibacy Do you have a dog? You are going to need one for some companionship on those long, lonely, cold nights sleeping in your Midnight Silver TESLA!

Pearl White is a multicoat finish (3 different coats I think)
Base White is not

I currently have a Pearl White car. It's okay, but I would really prefer base White on my TESLA 3 because of easier repairs and touch up and higher shine. If you compare the two whites to house paint, base White would be glossy and Pearl White would be satin.

In person, the Pearl White is very pretty. The metallic flakes are all different colors - yellow, blue, pink, silver, red, etc. It is much like what you would expect from a crystal prism sparkling across the paint.

I really want a bright fun youthful torch red like Audi uses in its S4 models....if tesla offers that I'm all in for bright red....otherwise white gets the nod...

All the colors look good...I just will never do another black car..what a pain in the ass...and had way too many beautiful silver cars over the years..

I'd like blacked out window trim as well if offered...if not...not a biggie but I would pay for a blacked out window trim if offered...

No badges would be a sleek way to go too..

I always hated badges...so the cars shown so far without them is quite exciting if we can get the cars that way....

Save the weight, save the money...keep people guessing would be preferred..

I would say with 99.9% certainty the car will be badged, but that's very easy to remove. Just do it away to avoid paint fade issues (especially on red).

Blacked out trim can be nice too! I have a feeling you won't see that as an option though.
