Hi folks, Summit has been introducing wheels in 2021 and the majority of these have been cast and generic fitment. We have an option of doing a very high end forged wheel made by a top manufacturer and would like to get your thougths on it. At forged wheel prices, we think they need to be dedicated for each specific vehicle. Down to the exact mm offset number level and hub centric. We happen to have a Model 3 at the moment so the car makes sense.

Measurements would be based on our Forgestar CF5V's. Basically a 19 x 9.5 + 32 offset for the front or for people that wanted a square setup. In the back, we can fit a 305 tire and would likely use a 19 x 11 in. wheel with the offset dialed in. We are leaning toward 19s vs. 20s (and bigger) because of superior performance tire option avaiablity. However we know there are folks out there that prefer the look of larger wheels and wouldn't run extreme performance summer tires.

These wheels are considerably lighter than cast or flow formed wheels. Likely less than most of other forged wheels as well, but would have all certifications for durability. True Magnesium is an option for the absolute pinnacle wheel, but cost rises into the five digits for a set of four. Colors could be anything one could imagine but we need to order these in large qauntities and would lean toward the common anthracite, gun-metal, silver, bronze, etc. Let us know what YOU think!

Tweaks can be made to any of these and it strikes us that the wing to the outside of every other spoke is backwards for the spoke rotation on option 4 below. What do you think? Finally, we can have ANYTHING made so let us know your dream wheel design and we'd see if enough people want it that it warrants manufacturing.

Here's the first option:

Here's the Second option.

Thank you for you input!

All of them are really nice, something about the spidery look of option 2 gets my attention

1&3 are pretty often imitated designs. 1 is actually very similar to the wheels on the 992.1 Porsche GT3.

2 is...unique. Can't decide whether I like it or not.

4 is my pick.

I'd go 4, 2, 1, 3.
