I've been inspecting every car passing me by for the past 3-4 months. This morning, I woke up and said to myself, "this is the day I will see a model 3" (absolutely true). And I did. I saw the headlights from a mile away. When I got close, the front fascia was unmistakable. It was it. I made a u-turn to go see it. My wife thought I was nuts. "You see Teslas all the time" she said. No. This is the model 3. I see model S and model X everyday. I'm so close to having my own and I've never seen one. It was a fleeting moment...

I feel like this forum is a support group for likeminded (read crazy) people ;)

My first sighting led to tailgating so closely that I ended up in the private SpaceX garage as backing up was essentially impossible at that point :p

Luckily my wife was with me and the owner was in the car. Otherwise, I would have spent more than the 10 seconds I did. My wife said, "I'm used to it, my dad was obsessed with cars". I'm not obsessed with cars in the least bit. I'm obsessed with one specific car. This car.
