i talked to a couple of ceramic coating "specialists" and was turned off them, the process, the industry ... well you get the idea.

After researching this out, I'm looking to film the front bits of the car (bumper, hood, side mirrors) and then ceramic coat the whole car. That will give rock chip protection and also keep the car easier to clean. From a few threads on the forum and a few websites, this two pronged approach will work.

I have also looked at "Platinum Shield Protection" from FCPP instead of ceramic, but it seems to be a "really good wax" and not much more, but for 1/3 the cost of ceramic coating.

What I need now is some recommendations for reliable and good shops in the Vancouver area who do this sort of work. A one stop shop is preferred, but I can drive from point A to point B if need be :)

thanks.
