Hi folks, a Tesla owner here and admittedly very ignorant of what other EVs can do in terms of using fast chargers and in taking road trips. While road trips are possible with slower chargers i'm focussed on which ones can use fast chargers for more practical road trips.

We've been developing a new EV Road Tripping site which is here:
http://evtripping.com

Right now it only supports Tesla since thats all we have data for although we do have CHAdeMO chargers and their details listed too. We'd love to add other EVs for routing but need data on charge rates, energy consumption etc. Would also be good to know how practical the road trips are too.

I'd love to start a discussion along those lines if possible.

For Model ☰ owners, the data in there when you pick Model 3 as your car is a guess right now based on currently available data. Happy to have a discussion on the Model 3 threads about range/etc.

I have a 2015 VW e-Golf, capable of DC combo fast charge, onboard 7.2kWh charger.
similar set up to the BMW i3, There are way less DC combo chargers around though, but I've had mine for almost 2 years and never used one yet....
