I’m planning a round trip road trip from TX to VA in my Model 3. Getting frustrated that all the hotels along my route that have destination chargers do not allow dogs or charge excessive non-refundable pet fees. LaQuintas need to jump on the destination charger bandwagon because they always allow pets and the waffles make my son happy.

@TC3Tesla Most destination chargers are considered "Public", so, you may be able to charge at another location while you lodge where you find a better pet policy.

Not the best solution, but an option.

Taking a big road trip with my dogs. Made a sign for those times I can’t take them inside with me. All the emojis so it can be understood even if you don’t read English well.
I LOVE La Quinta Inn & Suites too for the same reasons! What about charging at one of the other hotels or Super Chargers along your route and staying at La Quinta. It requires two stops, but is worth it to save the exhorbitant fees.

Another option that I have personal experience using = Kimpton Hotels allow pets
