At first I wasn't able to select First Production. The site wouldn't let me save it. I logged in using a different browser and was able to select the Standard Battery option, and then I was able to switch to First Production Nov. 2017 - Jan. 2018. Will I get an email or some sort of confirmation? I am not able to see "my tesla" account info....

Is anyone else a little nervous that it was almost a cluster to get in to watch the live stream last night and now issues with their estimator while expecting them to spit out about 400k state of the art automobiles by the end of next year???:fearscream:

Yes, the site indicated you would be notified when it's time. I suspect that's an email. I will be checking daily for now on though just in case ;)

You mean their ability to make the cars or their ability to get the orders?

The ordering invitations will be staggered, so no worries there.

Their ability to make the cars. So far they've met and exceeded each checkpoint goal and projection with Model 3, so let's keep our fingers crossed that it continues that way!!

their ability to maintain a functioning web server when hundreds of thousands of people are all trying to access the same thing at the same time is not really what they are known for. I would not let their skill in that leave any impressions on how well they can manufacture a vehicle.
I mean, I would not want comcast to be making anything I drive after all....

Thought I might be the first Canadian to reply. I logged in and got the estimator as you did. I made the reservation in June 2016 in Western Canada. Sadly though, it tells me regardless of the options I choose, it's a late 2018 delivery for me :( Here is hoping they get that ramp going!

Imagine how I feel. I reserved April 3 and I get the exact same, vague, message.

Very disappointed that Dual Motor won't be available for me till Oct-Dec 2018 according to my reservation. I was hoping for around May-August 2018 timeframe to get the full tax credit.

How about everyone else?
Are you guys just going to get Rear Wheel drive instead of waiting for Dual Motor?

My point was that we are hopeful that Tesla can mass produce a state of the art automobile in such a short period of time while they can't get our reservation dates straight yesterday and now can't configure an estimator without glitches. I'm not really too worried but just thought it was humorous.

Yes. In a way, I got saved from myself. No longer tempted to max it out. In fact, I probably won't even wait for a different seat color.

I have a second reservation that my family will use for a (perhaps) maxed out version later. By then, we will have been driving the first one for a full year.

I probably would do the same.. and say goodbye to Dual-Motor. :(
$49k for premium pkg + Larger Battery but they don't mentioned about Auto Pilot.
I'm assuming they will charge that as extra option. Another $4k-$5k? What do you think it will cost?

Thank you for the LINK~~
For
Full Self-Driving Capability - $3,000 (requires Enhanced Autopilot)
-- I am assuming that since its not available right away - we can opt to get it later for higher cost?
