To the northern folks of M3OC (I prefer the old name). I'm taking a trip up to Montréal this weekend, and I'm staying at a friend's place. The only parking near him is street parking. I see on plug share, That there are charging stations scattered about. Do I need some special card, or account to use them? Also, plugshare says parking is free, charging is $1/hr. Can I remain parked there when I'm finished charging? If it's the middle of the night? What is my best option? I could visit the supercharger and be done, but I find it more convenient to charge over night.

Important to know: the phone app and card are not linked. Prepayment on the phone would not transfer to the card.

If you're coming for the weekend, stick to the app!

There most popular charge network in Quebec is Flo, which also works with Circuit Electric.
You can order their card or download their app.
Here's their link for more information.
Not suppose to park in a charging station overnight if you're not charging.
You could be fined.

Flo has a partnership with Chargepoint for account interoperablity, so a chargepoint account should work with Flo.
Chargepoint is fairly common in New York so you can set up an account, test it and get it billed in USD with a local credit card.
