The best and easiest way to truly see the new prices, it to just build the car in the configurator again, those prices are updated. You can not get a car without AP now, it's been made standard on all of them. Likely even those in stock if there were any, it is just turned on with software. They did raise the prices to cover AP.

While I don't like it, Tesla has proven they've got ways to take the rebate money out of your pocket. If the $7K comes back expect them to make the SR+ car very scarce to buy. First, I'm not sure I see the rebate making it back, and if so, my mind says it would be retroactive for the purchases this year making one hell of a deal for these cars.
Hey GDN, thanks for the response! First time here and first day as a member of this awesome site. According to Tesla's release, though, the SR is still available, which assumes the $35k price point and no AP:

https://www.tesla.com/blog/update-our-vehicle-lineup

My point was also that, if you do build it on the configurator page / Tesla's website, you can't get that price point and their actual lineup with features available is vague at best.

As to the rebate, I checked out the details of the bill called the Driving America Forward Act. In a nutshell, it won't be retroactive. The bill specifically states that those in the middle of last years cut off and the date this would take affect would not be eligible. I think there is a very small chance this bill will pass, though.

I think I'm going to wait until;
  1. We see what happens with the new Drive America Forward Act and possible $7k incentives coming back
  2. Tesla's story stops changing every few weeks. It's moved into the realm of frustrating at this point
I'm all for getting more Teslas on the road. But the reality is Tesla built in the tax incentive to the cost of the car. As soon as the 7500 was halved the cost of the car was reduced to reflect this. I'm back to the bait and switch "hurry up and buy now for the best price" feeling. They knew all along they would reduce the price to offset the incentive. Now if the incentive is renewed all of us that rushed to buy year end on that premise will take another big hit..plus taxes...in NY that's a big one too

On April 1 (April fools!) I ordered a LR AWD with Red, 19"wheels, AP and FSD. The cars purchase price was $60,500. Now the base price is + !000, the paint is -$500 and AP is "included" (-$3000). The purchase price is now $58000!! Oh, add $1200 to both of those purchase prices for delivery. I don't even have a VIN or anything. I'm tempted to cancel the order, since there is nothing I want to change but the prices.
I wonder if they will apply the new prices to my order. They "are still looking for a car. It will be 2 weeks on Monday. Ha!
Simply contact your delivery specialist and ask for the price adjustment. I did and they updated both my loan and my out of pocket at delivery! Just send an email.

I picked up my LR RWD yesterday which I ordered before the price changes hit. I had paid 100% of my balance before hand. When I arrived, my numbers had already been adjusted and my balance showed a $2k credit (including taxes, etc). Instead of taking the check, I decided to pay another $3k out of pocket to get the FSD upgrade before driving away. Overall, I'm very happy with the car and with the care Tesla took to make this right without any headache.
Would you be able to post a screenshot of your updated invoice? I have the same issue. I ordered my LR RWD before the April 11 price changes and have delivery scheduled for next week. At that time I paid extra $3,000 for Autopilot. I attempted to contact my delivery advisor but they are not aware of the price changes. Can't wait till I get into my new Model 3! Thanks!

Thanks so much! I'm going to have to talk to my delivery specialist (who is completely unaware of the new pricing) about the updated pricing. Would you be ok to share the screen shot of the long range model pricing? I'm happy to give you my e-mail if you'd like. I'm taking Delivery tomorrow afternoon so I'm super excited.

@erudite - My quote is for a SR+ White/White with AP and FSD. It won't be the same variance for for a LR. Also, since you already had a VIN, I don't anticipate they would be receptive to making a price adjustment. It your variance is more than $2500 and you can wait for a while, I'd mention that you might return it in the 7day period and re-order to save the money... but my personal opinion is that if you were willing to spend $x before, you should still be willing to send that amount. I was - but it never hurts to ask politely.

Yes, you're absolutely right. My thought was to put the price savings towards a ceramic coating! I'll definitely ask tomorrow. Thanks again

Out of curiosity, does anyone know what the off-menu LR RWD with bundled Autopilot now costs? I couldn't find it in Tesla's release or the Electrek summary of the new pricing.
I may have missed it in all the responses, although I've followed the thread pretty closely.

Can anyone share what the new (post 11-April) "base price" is for LR RWD with bundled Autopilot, that has to be ordered either over the phone or at a showroom?

I was told by my delivery advisor today that there is no change to the LR RWD pricing since it was not updated with the rest of the lineup. Therefore, it does not include AP bundled in the price either. The only adjustments they were able to do for me was reduce the paint option, so I opted to change my order to LR AWD for an extra $2k CAD.

I'm in socal, and its showing within two weeks for all configs including SR+. May want to try a <cntl>F5 on your browser (or reset Safari if on OSX).
Ah, the infamous "clear you browser cache" solution!

It came back to showing 2 weeks without doing anything. Had it been a cache problem, it would have shown the same as a previous try.

Hey drewconner, any chance you could share your adjusted purchase order redacting any personal identifiable information, of course? I took delivery of my LR RWD last Sat. and I'm having a hard time getting them to adjust my price. All I received was a credit of $500 for the color. Still arguing about the AP, but no luck. HELP PLEASE!!!! Only 2 days left before I can return my vehicle.

What I'm reading online is if you call and order a LR RWD M3 the base price is now $44,500 and AP is NOT included with the RWD. If that is not the case, I'd also love to see a receipt.

My gut feeling is that anyone getting a better deal than this is getting a demo (or similar) car.

Tesla seems hell bent on ruining that "we're better than dealing with a dealership" image that they worked so hard at.

Thanks. The day of the delivery the manager told me that I could cancel the order and reorder same model, but I had to pay $3k for AP. Another option he gave me was to order a SR+ AWD for only $1500 more than what I was paying for this LR RWD. I wasn't interested on dual motors.
