According to:
https://cleanvehiclerebate.org/eng/eligibility-guidelines

"no single entity is eligible to receive more than two CVRP rebates either via direct purchase and/or lease as of January 1, 2015"

Is a person or household a single entity?

Asking as we have applied for two $2500 CVRP rebates after 1/1/2015. We will be turning in our 2016 Nissan Leaf lease sometime in the next 3 months and picking up another EV, so another $2500 would be hard to pass up.

Depending on what a "single entity" is, we are eligible for a total of two or four CVRP rebates.

No fool cell tech for us.

But would a married couple be considered as one "single" entity and thus only eligible for 2 CVRP rebates? Or would they be considered two "single" entities and thus eligible for a total of 4 CVRP rebates?

what info do you provide for the rebate? is it based on your car registration or your license? or based on your state income tax return?
if based on the registration/license, It should be based on you as an individual. If based on your income tax return, and you file jointly, then based on household. (just a guess trying to be logical).

Applied for the rebate in my name only (spouse name not included) and used my driver license number and the VIN. Did not use state income tax return.

Guess we will see what happens for the next vehicle, but will try with wife’s name and driver license number on that one.

Should note there are income restrictions on the CVRP rebate, not on the PG&E rebate.
