Most vehicles have a blower motor resistor. Thankfully, some newer models are avoiding the need for this part by using a brushless blower motor for the HVAC system. Tesla helped us out a little by doing this for the Model 3.

I know the X and S both have a blower motor resistor and there are a few used resistors on ebay. I'm just having an issue finding the Tesla part number. Looking through a online parts catalog, I see there is a "Blower controller FET ASSY" but there is no picture that I know of. So I'm just not sure if "Blower controller FET ASSY" is Tesla's name for a blower motor resistor. I'm guessing the two are the same part but does anyone know for sure?

FET can be "field effect transistor" so I am guessing they use active electronic components rather than a passive resistor to control the blower speed.

In the US, you can access the EPC from Tesla at epc.telsa.com
I saw they had that up but I mistakenly thought you had to be someone special to get a sign in. Thanks for the tip. No more Russian sites for me!

From their Model S diagram, I can see where one of these ebay BMRs would bolt into the blower motor housing. But still, no real confirmation of the BMRs on ebay matching the FET assy part number. I've searched the part number on google. Almost nothing comes up.
