Elon's recent decision to offer either $ 5K refund at the cost of giving up free supercharging implicitly values the latter at $ 5K.
Many people think its being overvalued, which some feel its a good deal.

I am considering buying the Performance version of the M3 but I was just wondering if anybody is buying it without the performance upgrade? And if so, is it a money thing or some other reasons? I am on the fence right now. I currently have an LR AWD configured but i can still edit it.
[Mods, I wasn't sure what forum to put this in. It's somewhat technical, so I put it in tech talk. Please feel free to move as appropriate.]
Here are some notes about my Performance Model 3 test drive yesterday. It probably needs some more edits, but I was eager to share. Original will be...
One thing that makes me shudder every time I see a Model 3 review video, is looking at the plastic pedals. My current car has alloy pedals which I think give it a premium look, as well as being more durable.
Do you think a future 'sports' version of the Model 3 will have these?
I'm cross-posting like it's going out of style, and Model 3 Owners Club gets first dibs tonight. I'd like to thank whoever submitted the FOIA request, and the EPA for complying.
