Charging EV in Switzerland

Hi everyone!
I'm finally getting a Tesla, Model 3 LR, super excited about it!

After 10 years in US, we moved back to Europe (we are Italian) and now live in Adliswil, Zurich.

I have couple of questions about charging in Switzerland in general...

I live in an apartments with common garage, my landlord is not going to do anything for ev charging yet. So the benefit to charge at home it’s not happening right now.

Do I need to rely only on paid charger around me?

Any recommendation where the price for Kw is not too expensive? (I mean, don't get me wrong, it’s still an amazing prize compared to gas...). I found couple of stores where they have free charging (Lidl, coop...), but I'm wondering if anyone has more tips about this.

Super charger are actually cheaper than any other charging services... is it true?

Ionity seems amazing: 8 CHF and you charge as you want.

Is there any type of discount, subscription, or service that can help in this situation?

Any suggestion or tips in general would be great. I'm using Chargemap app and a couple of more app, but maybe I’m missing something more specific to Switzerland.

Thank you!

Not sure about Europe, in US superchargers are certainly cheaper than any other pay for use chargers(not to mention, faster). Free charging at work, nearby schools, or retail centers? Is there no electricity in your common garage at all? Doesn't have to be EV specific, just a regular wall outlet will keep pace with most driver's needs.

Yes, there is a plug in the garage. But I can’t use it because it’s shared across the whole buildings, and I already ask the landlord to use it, but no luck.

Eh, I know, in USA there are a lot of free chargers at workplace, especially in California (where I came from).

thanks for the input!

I am in the same situation. I will be picking up my Tesla Mod 3 in couple of weeks. I live in Basel.

I own my house but my garage parking is communal and my parking spot is far from the shared electric meter or outlet. It’s very expensive to extend the cable from meter to my parking lot due to safety regulations etc etc.

So if you find some tips on Charging using public charger please let me know.
